Beautiful Redemption - Margaret Stohl, Kami Garcia As previously said before, I'm not sure about these books. They aren't bad but I can't seem to love them.

This one in particular. It all went too well, if you know what I mean. The challenges too easy, the fights always won. Dark clouds ahead? Hell no! Stricken down with rainbow farting unicorns and glitter barfing fairies. But, seriously. It seemed rushed like the authors wanted the happy ending so bad their fingers were getting ahead of themselves writing it.

I know that the whole "obsession of the the love interest is not only okay but is rewarded" thing is pretty typical, but balls, I really dislike it. I don't like every other half sentence to contain a declaration of love...

All in all: sometimes I think about these books when my mind goes idle or something makes me think of those wacky Castors but I don't know if it does so because I love the book or just because I read it. Not great but not horrible.
